iST Master Module:

The master module is the main component of the iST Race Management System.
Must be supplied with a DC voltage between 9 and 15 volts, all other modules receive power from the master one.
Up to 4 track sensors can be connected to the module.
The master module is connected to the computer with a Standard-B USB connector.
iST software, which is free, must be installed on the PC.

A temperature and humidity sensor (optional) can be connected to the master and there is also a two pin connector to which you can connect a button (or more buttons in parallel) to switch on and off the track power supply even by drivers or marshalls.

iST - interactive Slot Timing is a timing and race management system:

- Complete because made of an hardaware and a software part, one closely related to the other.
- Flexible since the hardware part is simply composed by 2 objects: track sensors and modules, both not related to the type and brand of the track.
It's possible to connect up to 4 sensors to each module, and each module is connected to another with a common RJ45 network cable.
- Scalable since both, software and hardware, have been designed and structured in order to allow new features in a short time.

Hardware Features:

- Complete management for up to 128 lanes, or more exactly
128 track sensors
- 500 meters is the maximum distance you can cover with a common
network cable between the race management station and the tracks
- Each module (4 sensors) has an integrated 10 amp relay, its function is
programmable by the user (start & stop, reverse direction, lighting, etc..)
- Humidity and temperature sensor (optional)
- Each module consumes about 380 mA
- Simply place sensors under the track making a little hole,
no need of dead strip or lamps !!!
- Sensors are immune to electromagnetic interference (lamps with
electronic ballasts, fluorescent lamps, transformers, motors, etc..)
